Descrizione
Lungo circa sei metri aveva un'altezza di 3,5 metri per un peso stimato di 5 tonnellate. Caratteristico il singolo corno. Vegetariano, pare fosse un animale gregario che viveva in branchi. Non è chiara l'identificazione della specie, sembra infatti che si possano ascrivere i resti trovati sino ad oggi al più vasto genere dei Centrosaurus.
Diffusione
È un genere estinto di dinosauro erbivoro ceratopsiano trovato negli strati del tardo Cretaceo della formazione del fiume Judith nel Montana, negli Stati Uniti, e negli strati rocciosi più alti della formazione del Dinosaur Park in Alberta, in Canada, datati tra 75 e 74,6 milioni di anni fa.
